Arrowside Capital is a Boston, Massachusetts based investment company focused on investing in innovative companies that have demonstrated financial discipline.

The firm was founded in 2022 by Tucker Walsh, who has more than 30 years of experience in investing in small and midsized innovative companies. Arrowside Capital believes that investing in innovative companies creating change builds the most value over time. The firm’s rigorous investment process searches for companies that are both innovative and profitable. Companies in the firm’s concentrated portfolios have durable competitive advantages, superior margins and returns on capital, and ample reinvestment opportunities. The combination of great conditions, plus great management behaviors produce the most intrinsic value growth over the long-term. Arrowside Capital favors small and mid-cap companies to take advantage of the market inefficiencies resident in these types of companies.

Founder, CIO

Tucker Walsh

Tucker is the Founder and CIO at Arrowside Capital LLC. Previously, Tucker was the Head of the Small Company Growth team and lead portfolio manager of the Polen Small Company Growth fund (ticker: PBSIX) from November 2017 to January 2022. Prior to that, he was the Founder and Head of Portfolio Management at Copper Rock Capital Partners. Before founding Copper Rock, Tucker was the lead portfolio manager of the Small Cap Growth strategy at State Street Research. He began his career in research at Merrill Lynch and Cowen and Company. Tucker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington and Lee University.

Partner, COO, Business Development

Andrew Winton

Andy is the COO of Arrowside Capital, LLC. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, most of that in business development. He began his career in 1987 with PaineWebber. In 1990 he opened JP Morgan’s equity distribution office in Boston. He moved to Merrill Lynch where he oversaw its Boston distribution efforts. In 2010 he moved to Toronto and ran Merrill Lynch’s Canadian Equity Business and served on Merrill Lynch Canada’s Executive Committee. Post his tenure in Toronto, Andy was one of ten team leaders to perform a strategic review of BAC for its CEO, Brian Moynihan
